Umrah for Orphans
Umrah for Orphans
Give an Orphan the
Journey of a Lifetime.
A sacred journey for the children who have lost the most.
For an orphaned child, Umrah is rarely something they imagine for themselves - it is a journey often reserved for families with the means and stability they have lost. Through Reaching People In Need (RPN), your sponsorship gives a vulnerable child the chance to stand before the Kaaba, walk the streets of Madinah and connect with their faith in a way that will shape them for the rest of their life.
Understanding the Programme
The Umrah for Orphans programme by Reaching People In Need (RPN) gives orphaned and vulnerable children the opportunity to perform Umrah - one of the most spiritually transformative journeys in Islam. Children travel under the care of trained, screened guardians, perform the rites of Umrah, visit the Prophet's ﷺ masjid in Madinah, and return home with confidence, memories and an Islamic identity that will accompany them throughout their lives.
